Our primary source of funding.
Start-up financing was attained through a grant and loan provided by the Lahey Clinic. Since then, individual donors, both private and corporate, have been the primary source of funding for Thalia House.
In the first three years, over $300,000 was raised, and despite a cautionary approach based on our need for capital preservation and liquidity, the Thalia House pool of funds has steadily grown. Our fund raising success in the name of Donna Romanaick is a particular source of pride here at Thalia House.
Please continue your support.
If you would like to add to the funds needed for the ever-increasing number of LDLT patients, please make your check out to "Thalia House", and send it c/o Elizabeth Pomfret, 601 School Street, Carlisle, MA, 01741. Soon after you will begin receiving our "Thalia House Update" to keep you thoroughly informed.

In addition to offsetting the costs of lodging, travel, and counseling, Thalia House is dedicated to the ongoing process of educating the medical community and the general public relative to liver disease and emerging treatment options. Seminars are now being scheduled that will feature presentations on the prevention of liver disease, the need for and benefits of organ donation, and new developments in patient care.
